Neil is a hard worker and a natural entertainer, he really loves to help our customers out or to be on stage, performing and having fun. Neil was one of our first service operatives and is a graduate of Bradford Uni, working in a number of different fields over the years, with a thread of musical pursuits throughout. Away from work Neil is a gifted musician and, when he isn't securely collecting your shredding, he can be found entertaining crowds of paying customers in theatres and clubs all over the UK.
Miles is the teenage son of Michael & Belinda, a student at All Saints school and a star at marketing. We kid you not! So far, Miles has come up with most of the the look for the company, from choosing the colourway and fonts for all our campaigns (within reason - he likes Comic Sans for example) to creating fantastic straplines, his best; "If you don't use Go Shred, you aren't Shredding". We love having him around the office.
Niall is a Huddersfield native and has the honour of being Neil's son - another family connection we are proud to say. Niall's biggest passion (away from shredding of course) is Boxing, promoting events and he is currently in the process of working towards his coaching badges in the sport. In addition he is also a personal trainer and recently worked with amateur boxers who took part in a large charity project in the town.
Gavin has over a decade's experience of working in the shredding industry in various roles.
Michael and Gavin first met up when they worked together at PHS in their shredding division, which no longer is in existence.
Gavin was part of the Dewsbury service team that won Depot of the Year on many occasions. We were thrilled to be able to bring him into the team when we needed to expand further in mid 2018 and he has proved to be a huge asset to the company and our customers, with a strong focus on our Customer Service ethic.
Away from work, Gavin has a keen interest in restoring and riding vintage Lambretta scooters and is a very proud family man.
Belinda has worked in television, engineering, the NHS, tasting sweets in a sweet factory and selling antiques. In between that she is a Mum and a wife. Let's face it, she needed a rest, so she thought it would be easier to help her husband start a shredding company from scratch.
Bel will be the person who more than likely answers the telephone, does the vehicle routing, sends your paperwork or comes to collect your shredding. Bel loves to do customer visits so there's a good chance you will see her mucking in with the team. Away from work, she loves cooking, music and cups of tea with a nice chocolate biscuit whilst watching Tipping Point or Salvage Hunters.
Michael started out working behind the camera in Television and Film after graduating from Uni of Huddersfield, but after 15 years of that moved on to the Shredding & Waste industry and has been in the thick of it for over a decade; with experience of working for one of the UK's largest shredding companies and then years of working for a small family shredding company at Director level.
He decided to start Go Shred to bring the best of everything he learnt in security, customer service and also dedicate his work to help customers achieve 100% landfill avoidance.
He is a family man, and he loves sports - especially American Football - and also likes to ride and tinker with his vintage Lambretta.
